Who are your CV WRITERS?
Our in-house consultants are skilled professional CV writers and career management specialists. Two consultants work on every CV, one of which will always have a recruitment background. This unique approach delivers consistent high standards of writing and service – all at no additional cost to you.
How much does a professionally written CV cost?
Our fees correspond to career stages and client specific requirements. Prices start from £75 for a CV makeover up to executive CV price levels. Our most popular CV is a mid-career CV for £149. We write all our CVs in-house and our consultants are experts in their field. Our fees reflect our team’s expertise and the hours spent on preparing each bespoke CV. This includes one-to-one client consultations and additional research, through to the writing, reviewing, amending and proofing stages. We don’t cut corners, your CV is too important.
WHY ARE THERE DIFFERENT price levels for cvS?
Our prices reflect the difference in time it takes to complete a particular CV. There is simply more work involved in preparing CVs for individuals in more senior career stages than a graduate.
How long does it take to delivery a CV?
We usually allow three to five working days to ensure availability of our consultants and in-house proofreader. We always agree a time frame upfront and aim to accommodate your ideal delivery date wherever possible.
DO YOU OFFER A 24-HOUR TURNAROUND SERVICE?
What if I want to make some changes to the CV?
We are happy to make revisions to your CV within the scope of your original brief. It’s important to us that our clients are delighted with the finished product.
HOW DO YOU WORK ON SOMEONE'S LINKEDIN PROFILE?
We can provide the content for you to add yourself, alternatively we can work on your profile directly online; all you need to do is provide your log-in details.
do you provide generic cover letters?
To optimise the benefit of a cover letter, a separate cover letter is advisable for each different role and company. However, we understand that cost can be a factor, so we aim to help by providing a discount on multiple letters.
Interview Coaching Service
what does interview coaching involve?
All interview coaching is tailored to an individual client’s needs. The first step is a free, initial telephone consultation to establish your objective and how we can assist. We provide one-to-one interview coaching, either in person (depending on location) or via Skype.
DO I NEED TO PREPARE ANYTHING FOR INTERVIEW COACHING?
To maximise the benefits of a coaching session, some preparation will be required. We will advise you on what you need to prepare when your booking in confirmed.
WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU REQUIRE FROM ME?
We ask for a copy of your CV, job applications and relevant job descriptions. This helps us to understand your career stage and to tailor your coaching session accordingly.
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept electronic bank transfers, credit card payments and PayPal. We provide an invoice for all transactions.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS?
We agree all fees in advance and provide a written service confirmation. There are no additional costs unless you require further services from us. There is no VAT on invoices.
Do you offer discounts for multiple services?
We offer price combination discounts when you use two or more services, for example, a 20% discount on a cover letter when a CV is ordered.
Why do you require payment in advance?
Our industry practice is for payment in advance; this establishes a firm commitment from you and allows us to invest our time exclusively on your requirement. We guarantee all of our writing services.
What is your success rate?
Our high level of repeat and referral business is perhaps the best measure of success. Clients frequently feedback their success, having worked closely with them on their projects it’s so nice that they want to share their good news with us.
dO YOU WORK OUTSIDE OFFICES HOURS?
We appreciate that it can be difficult to speak around daytime work commitments, so we offer a level of availability during evenings and weekends. We feel it’s important to speak in person; a successful CV should never be developed through email communication alone.
Will my details be kept confidential?
